    Brian Stephenson

    Alumnus, Founding Alpha

    Brian was the founder of our chapter here at WVU! He served as class president while majoring in forensic & investigative science and biology. He graduated from WVU in 2019 and went on to receive his masters from Virginia Commonwealth University in forensic science. Since then, he has been working as a Forensic DNA Technician at the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory (AFDIL) in Dover, DE. Aiding the mission to recover the remains of our soldiers and help ID them using DNA analysis methodology.

    David Smith

    Alumnus

    David graduated from WVU in May 2020; he was a biology major and a member of the wrestling team. He held the position of vice president in Fall 2019 and president in Spring 2020. He is currently attending WVU School of Medicine and plans on pursing neurosurgery.

    Hannah Spence

    Alumna

    Hannah was a part of our Alpha class, she majored in communication sciences and disorders and served as our initiate advisor. She is currently applying to doctor of audiology programs to someday become a clinical audiologist!

    Aiyana-Mei Tom

    Alumna

    Aiyana-Mei was a part of our Gamma class, she majored in biology at WVU and is currently completing her masters in infectious diseases and microbiology at the University of Pittsburgh. In the future, she hopes to work for a private industry lab like Pfizer, J&J or Regeneron.

    Brendan graduated in 2021 and he is currently in dental school! During his time at WVU, he majored in Biology and Chemistry while serving as our chapter president.

    Niall Diehl

    Alumnus

    Niall was born in Beckley, WV and raised in Martinsburg, WV. He graduated with a B.A in Biology in the spring of 2021 and has since been working for the Kijimoto lab studying genetics at WVU. In the near future, he hopes to gain a masters in genetic counseling. Niall was part of the gamma class of BPO and held the position of historian.

    Nico Hartley

    Alumnus

    Nico grew up in Reynoldsburg, OH and moved to Morgantown, WV in 2017 to initially pursue a degree in Biochemistry or Forensic Sciences but ultimately switched to a Sports Psychology degree. He graduated in the spring of 2021 with a B.S. in Sports Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies. Nico was part of the Gamma class and held the position of Brother at Large.

    Heather graduated from WVU in May 2021! She plans on attending grad school, where she hopes to earn a degree in marine biology focusing on environmental research.

    Alumna

    Carly Miceli was initiated with the Epsilon class and was a Neuroscience major. She is currently working as a medical lab scientist at UPenn where she plans to continue her education through healthcare and the science she loves. She served our chapter as secretary and as sister at large.

    Alumna

    Morgan McClelland was a part of our Zeta class and majored in Biology. She works as a Quality Technologist at Molson Coors Beverage Company and is working towards getting her taster certification and brewing diploma. She is planning to work towards her master’s degree in Microbiology next year.

    Alik is from Hurricane, WV. He graduated in December 2022 was in Epsilon Class, and served as initiate advisor. He is now attending University of Washington for his Masters.

    Jillian graduated in December 2022 with Honors in Biology. She served as the Academic Chair for two semesters and was initiated as part of Zeta class. She grew up in Reading, PA and is hoping to pursue a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences in the near future.

    Cambria Stetson

    ALUMNA

    Cambria is from Eldersburg, MD and recently graduated from WVU with honors with a BS in Biology and a BA in Dance. She joined BPO her sophomore year and served as Academic Chair, and served on the board her junior and senior year as Treasurer and Vice President respectively. She will be getting a Masters in Human Biology next year before attending Dental School.

    Kaitlin is from Winchester, VA, and was part of the Zeta class in BPO. Throughout her time in BPO she served as the Professional Greek Council Representative. After graduating with a biology degree in December of 2022, she has been working as a dental assistant here in Morgantown while also finishing her dental school application for this upcoming cycle.

    ALUMNA

    Alexa was apart of the Zeta class in Fall 2021! She is from Nesquehoning, PA and studied Biology with an Addiction Studies minor. She previously served as our PR Chair, and just recently completed her term as Treasurer. After graduation, she will be moving to Philadelphia to study at Thomas Jefferson University!

She joined BPO with the Epsilon class and was the initiate advisor for her last year and a half. Her future plans are to attend nursing school and become a nurse practitioner.

    Jenna is from Pittsburgh, PA and was initiated in 2022 with the Eta class. She served as the Service Chair her first semester with BPO, and served as Sister at Large for her last two semesters. She studied biology with a minor in business and is pursuing graduate school to obtain her Masters in Public Health.
