David Smith

Alumnus

David graduated from WVU in May 2020; he was a biology major and a member of the wrestling team. He held the position of vice president in Fall 2019 and president in Spring 2020. He is currently attending WVU School of Medicine and plans on pursing neurosurgery.

"BPO gave me the opportunity to build relationships that will last a lifetime. It gave me the chance to meet people from a variety of different backgrounds, each with a different passion and personality. Had it not been for BPO, I would not have even met many of my fellow members that I am now very close friends with. I’m not sure that I can pick a single favorite memory, because there are many that I will cherish forever. Overall, BPO has given me a family of great people that will always strive to improve the lives of themselves and others. I am thankful for each and every person that I have met throughout my time in BPO, and know that the future generations of BPO members will continue to succeed in all of their endeavors."
