Niall Diehl

Niall was born in Beckley, WV and raised in Martinsburg, WV. He graduated with a B.A in Biology in the spring of 2021 and has since been working for the Kijimoto lab studying genetics at WVU. In the near future, he hopes to gain a masters in genetic counseling. Niall was part of the gamma class of BPO and held the position of historian.

“BPO has helped me form a network of similarly educated individuals that are also life long friends. Joining the organization was the first step in provoking thoughts about future directions  and possibilities. Discussing interesting topics being taught in various classes was one of my favorite parts of BPO. My favorite memory was weathering a storm with my fellow members for a fundraiser and having lunch with them after. I enjoy seeing how the small fraternity my peers and I left has grown and expanded as time goes by.”
