Initiate Advisor

(she/her) Julia is a senior biology major with an area of emphasis in cellular and molecular biology along with a minor in business. She is the initiate advisor of Beta Psi Omega, the secretary of the National Honors Society, an active participant of Project 168, and a member of the Pre-Dental Club. She is from Pittsburgh, PA and plans on going to dental school with aspirations of becoming an orthodontist.

"Since I have joined BPO in the spring of my sophomore year, I have built everlasting interpersonal relationships with people that have similar academic and social interests as me. BPO has allowed me to gain new insight on what West Virginia University has to offer to students with interest in biology and other STEM majors. Current members and alumni have given me the reassurance that anyone can do what they put their mind to. Not only have I gained leadership skills and memorable experiences, I also developed confidence in my scientific career and continue to be supported by my brothers and sisters."
