Dr. C is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology and Academic Advisor for undergraduate Neuroscience Majors. She is originally from the Pittsburgh, PA suburbs. She earned a B.S. in Environmental Studies from California University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in Biology from West Virginia University.

"My primary focus is always my students. I strive to foster a genuine interest in and appreciation of the biological sciences and demonstrate to my students that they are capable of success in STEM. I teach several courses where I get to integrate diverse teaching strategies, including Principles of Biology, Communicating Natural Science, Neuroscience 1, Genetics of Neurodevelopmental Disorders, and the Neuroscience Capstone. I genuinely enjoy working with students and being a part of their educational journey. Outside of academia, I love being outside and enjoying nature and have several cute pets I'd love to show you photos of!"
